Having booked a flight with Jet2.com I expected to have to pay for extras such as meals, baggage, extra leg room etc, but tell me how they can charge for check in, it's £12 to check in on line and £8 for airport check in, what other choice is there ? Surely the basic airport check in should be included in the price.

I think you will find it isn't included in the price of any budget airlines now. Maybe not even in the price of the big ones either.
