BBF was not something he had just invented ...............

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

...and yet to me this is hopeful, that finally there is a leader who understands that there cannot be one Governent, and that it does not most certainly mean two; for our Principals to be Bicommunal there are at least three governing bodies. a People, because they represent themselves as Individuals, equal citizens of a State, and as majorities, as Persons, where in National Assemblies, having a territorial Jurisdiction chartered by the State, they serve their electors equally, sustaining their distinct identity first perhaps, they recognise and respect the minorities amongst them, providing for their special needs.

...similarly, Bizonal does not mean tearing the island in two pieces. and although "enclaves" is a dirty word to most in this day and age, they are the key to repopulating at least some of the displaced (Turcophone and Grecophone)as they were forced to leave, as communities; given that they would spot the whole island as it is divided today: one State Sovereign, and an internal infrastructure which can provide to its electors' services (,geographically or,) island wide, without a "border", but many frontiers.

...it is time for the formation of a Greek Constituency, equal to a Turkish Constituency, so that the Republic is free to be seen as a representative of all Cypriots prepared for a future where the population can change its demographics, defending Principals which are Universal, and a Heritance that is even older than "Greek" or "Turk"

``The partnership will comprise a Federal Government with a single international personality, along with a Turkish Cypriot Constituent State and a Greek Cypriot Constituent State, which will be of equal status.``
...count them, three.

Hardly any GC wants a federation. Even Christofias himself said many times that federation is something we are forced to negotiate due to the occupation of the north part of our island by Turkey. So I doubt you are correctly quoting Christofias.

Probably the term he used is "accept" not "want". In that case the answer is again simple: We accept a federation where the territory under TC admin will be no more than 18%, where all Settlers will return to Turkey, where all refugees will have the right to return to their properties, and where the human and democratic rights of the Cypriot people are respected. This is the kind of federation that GCs accept (and this is what Makarios accepted as well).

If by "federation" you mean something similar to the annan plan, we already said in the most clear and direct way that such thing is utterly unacceptable.

Mate I like the way you think and the way that you express yourself. Well said ........... ;)

Thats all he does, THINK. What he thinks and what will ultimately be a final settlement are miles apart. You will all cry rivers when this is all over. Some idiots talk about "balance of power", well, I'm no mathematician but my calculator gave a 14 digit figure when I tried calculating when this "balance of power" can be expected. So boys, looks like you truly messed up with your ENOSIS plans

So boy you stuck on certain solutions Enosis/BBF/Partition and other pshts in order time to pass. -Just choose any EU member country and apply its consitution in Cyprus. Then you will realize who wants solution and who is selling air.

What you suggest the TC will never accept; we will go to war before except anything even in the region of your proposals.

What you and many right wing GCs fail to realise is that a BBf is a compromise for us as well. Therefore you must be realistic with your suggestions of a compromise.

We have our own state (although it is not internationally recognised) if you want us to give it up and unite cyprus under a bbf then what you are offering is laughable--------- what would be our reason for accepting that?

and if you start going on about the 200,000 refugees...... firstly it was 130,000 (70,000 were Tc fleeing from the south- where is their compensation by the way? - like the gcs have recieved?)

secondly the return of Maras (with almost 50,000 GC refugees) which has been offered since day 1) would bring the The refugees from the south and the GC refugees from the north almost up to parity

The GC refugees have been used as a political tool by the Roc it is time that right wingers stopped telling them lies and allowed them to receive compensation or repatriation to the north if they so wish via the IPC. Where is the TCs justice where is the IPC for TCs?

by the way why did you not answer my question in the other thread? does GR, DT, Millites, Bannoit Mr ed etc see cyprus as greek? or is only you and the other Greek right winger that habour such views?

When one of the biggest partionists (zan) on this forum states the gc refugees at 180,000 then I hardly expected you to come and discount it.

The figures quoted by the un and other bodies vary between 180,000 and 200,000. When you consider that the majority population in the north was gc it doesn't take much to do the math.

I'll quote you all the relevant sites a little later. In a bit of a rush now.

Let me get this right: You reject democracy, you reject respect of human rights, you want to legitimize ethnic cleansing ... and then you call me "right wing"?

Most refugees don't want "compensations", they want their lands back. If you want compensation instead of your lands, then we would be glad to buy all your properties in Cyprus and then you can use the money to resettle in Turkey. Cyprus problem would then be permanently solved.

And yet the Greek Orthodox Church disagrees on the refugee figures. Why? One would think that the GO Church would take the opportunity to capitalise on these numbers (200,000).

btw; one refugee is too many never mind the thousands.

The above pamphlet - which has been posted before - was taken in a GO Church in the UK.

That unauthorised source which you keep resurrecting, like a good propagandist, doesn't include the thousands of Maronites and Armenians etc. It also doesn't include the thousands of GCs who were killed or those who fled as the Turkish invasions started.
