Burying the facts cannot be good for anyone.
The mystery remains, after all the overt condemnation of coupists and their deeds, what is being protected by not opening the respective Cyprus files? Are there agreements by non Junta governments that might show consent to something regarded as taboo?
To put it in plain English: did any elected official sign a partition deal pre 1967 or post 1974? Not that BBF is anything deifferent, but the terminology in this case does make a difference for some.
