Dear President of ROC.

I trully respect your position as president of ROC and the fact that you have been elected in this position by (mosttly) Greeks of Cyprus.

These people who voted your party to govern Cyprus in order to try to solve the CB -you know better than me- are not belong to your party's theories either for economical or political positions. They are just people who tried all other -AVAILABLE- possibilities and concluded that nobody can help tem to get out of this mess of CB.

They therefore decided to try the "impossible" .

They finally "my opinion" got a mess.

Your exelency and your political party ,considered that the field now is open to play your secret plans, not only to solve CB on basis of your 60 years old theories but - the most important and serious- to try to succeed what foreigners trying 2500 years now. To convist GCS that all their problems are because of their Ethinicity (Greek).

You use to ommit the fact that the same people (not alone) who created the problem in Cyprus created huge problems in mainland Greece also.You ommit to separate the population Ethnicity from the actions of some trators.This is your crime Mr President and on this you will face the trial of history.

We are not ready to loose our Ethnicity Mr President because "Greece invated Cyprus" as you said.You are going to loose your "page in Cyprus history" because of your under estimation of peoples power.

Mr President- You said that the solution presently on table is the only available one and that you are not the one who discovered this. I want just to remind you that several leaders of Soviet Union were making the same mistake and they had several supporters in the West. The mistake however was there.I am sure that you know how history handled ALL these leaders.

Sign what solution you want, but under one term-Our side to sign as " Greeks of Cyprus"-this is the only way our grand childs to have an opportunity.

Otherwise, I bake you, go home.

ARCHBISHOP Chrysostomos II has called on the Christian flock to keep their faith and turn to God during the hard economic times, whilst criticising the direction and continual concessions the Greek-Cypriot side keeps making on the Cyprus issue ...
In his Christmas message, the Prelate warns that 'Cyprus’ Hellenism is being smothered and soon no power will be able to raise and rescue it.”
The Archbishop blames Turkey and outside influences for “this big tragedy”. However he also faults Greek-Cypriots for “negligence in pursuing our rights.” Chrysostomos II says that because of our over eagerness to implement a tolerable solution we “have absolved Turkey from the burden of guilt of being an invading force, and forgotten their crime of ethnic cleansing” instead even shifting the blame on to our own people.
The Prelate calls on all Greek-Cypriots, from the President of the Republic to every single citizen to hold out against outside political pressure and to pursue the principles of the United Nations, warning “if we do not pursue and fight for our rights no one else will do so for us.”
Chrysostomos II says that we “should not loose faith, and turn to God” in order to avert a bad solution and finally get rid of the invading force. In closing, Chrysostomos II extends his wishes for freedom and hopes that liberty will finally come for Cyprus in 2011

The Archbishop is living in cloud cuckoo land - the only way there will ever be an end to partition is through compromise by both parties- the alterntive is permanant partition. IMHO The first compromise is to be Cypriot first and last, (albeit Cypriots who may speak Greek or Turkish) not Greeks or Cypriots.
