Call me a masochist if you want, Filitsa, but I use to enjoy listening to Michael Savage for a very long time. It is true that he is a right winger, but an intelligent one. For me, to get a more balanced view on politics, it is good to listen to both sides. Granted, I did not agree with him most of the time, but enjoyed listening to him all the same, unlike Rush. Michael even picks on the conservatives at times. But lets face it, all he is doing mainly, is to try and grab the number one talk show spot from Rush Limbaugh (1st place) and Sean Hannity (2nd place) for the right-wingers and for the most part, in the country.
Michael sees himself as the "Minutemen" defender for the nation having formed his "Paul Revere Society". For those who do not know what a "Minuteman" is, it has nothing to do with his sexual performance.
He got his new large power boat stuck on the mud by grounding it in the San Francisco Bay few years ago, so needless to say, he is a lousy "sailor", unlike yours truly, of course..!
Oh, I listen to him too, Kikapu (and I am by no means a masochist ). Otherwise, I wouldn't feel right sharing my opinion of him. Indeed he makes some valid points (I am not one to "throw the baby out with the bath water"); however, I strain to get beyond his scornful, arrogant, self-righteous delivery. ... And, yes, the bottom line is the ratings.
