The occupation regimes Xmas present.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby DT. » Wed Dec 29, 2010 12:55 am

So we've just witnessed Insan give us an explanation about how Xmas mass to a bunch of geriatric enclaved GC's was deemed dangerous due to father ieronimos who lives in the occupied areas and has to face the turkish authorities every day would have incited a rebellion.

I can see it now, half way through jingle bells Yiayia Marikou would have lifted up her church candle and ran towards eroglu to set fire to his Afro. :?

Here is another Xmas present from the Turkish to us:

"Cypriot Minister of Defense Costas Papacostas has criticized antennas installed by the Turks along the buffer zone"

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/Special/201 ... 294095540/

What "provoked" this one?

I am concluding by the stream of events that the TC's are not peace loving people and have no intention of reunification of any sort. The provocation is their internalised will to annexe to Turkey something that even Turkey has not accepted even as a possibility.

I remember reading an article by a TC journalist once ... he made reference to the Cypro as the point where Turkey would like to see the problem solved so she can move on however, to save face and embarrasement she pretends to have the interests of the TC's at heart.

It does indeed and lets be honest, it hasn't been that bad for either side. Even with all the embargoes imposed on us by our distant cousins we are plodding along with dignity and making the best of what is quite a bad situation.

My GC friends are always telling me that there is not a chance in hell of going back to the old days, even though we are happy to play good friends outside of Cyprus it is an undeniable fact that we hate you as much as you hate us. The only sensible thing is separation, no ifs and no buts.

South Cyprus is big enough for you and the North is just about big enough for us. I'm not sure what happens in 5-10 years time when we hit the million mark. Hopefully you'll be stupid enough to try genocide once again and maybe Turkey can finish the job off good and proper this time.

Happy new year to you all.
