It was reported this morning that 'The Royals' were gathering at Sandringham in order to observe their commitment to the 'Almighty' and there is nothing wrong with that (providing it is genuine).
The focus was on a group of people who stood shivering in the winter snow outside the gates of the estate.
One elderly lady was singled out for special attention since she had travelled from Scotland and taken up position at 4 am outside the said gates.
The newscaster announced that her vigilance had been rewarded since she had "Caught a Glimpse" of Her Majesty en route to the church.
Meanwhile, the 'Archbishop' made a reference to the forthcoming event of the marriage of Prince William to his 'Kate' (actually Catherine but unfortunately the unity of the initials WC on the commemorative mugs MAY present a problem, by all accounts) when he stated that, "The marriage may hopefully be seen as an 'Omen' for the future".
(The problem with the 'Mugs' being that a suitable entwining of the initials W/C are presenting a design dilemma))
There are two particular ways to determine in which form the 'Omen' may manifest itself (IMHO), the first 'Hopefully' will ensure that the general public will once again join in the celebrations and pay little attention to the awful events taking place in the wider world on their behalf (and on their own doorsteps as 'Austerity' takes it's grip upon them all).... OR.
Far less likely, that the 'Omen' will jolt them into an awakening that will send shockwaves through the 'Halls of Power' and send a message to they who reside therein, that "The people are not happy!"
If an old Lady of (I believe 84 yrs) is FOOL enough to brave the extreme elements of the worst winter conditions since records began, in order to "Catch a Glimpse", I doubt if anything short of the 'Second coming of Jesus Christ himself' will encourage the good folk of the U.K. to "Glimpse" at their own downtrodden existences.
