I dont find it offensive - the naked human form may not always be pretty to look at but in my view is only offensive because of cultural conditioning, frequently religeous based, but for those who belive we are maade in the image of God, why cover up God's image?

This is otherwise a very fine example of ancient statuary, which shows what skills then existed and which few can emulate today.

I agree with "stud". It's beautiful and it's a reflection of man's skill and creativity.

Covering her up with a Hijab or Burka would be ridiculous.

Yeah - they should have used a piccie of a slab of halloumi (mind you that might have caused uproar) or a kebab (hang on, same there) now lemme think ... an artist impression of an apartment block? Or better still - a songbird caught in a mist net!
