KNOCKING THE BRITISH

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

As said I agree with Source on many points, though I don't think all Britishers are like that, a lot of them are. But the thing is with me, is I find a lot of things totally alien about British Culture, like this friend of mine took out 20 pounds to go out with me and about 6 or 7 other friends, and he said he needed to pay his dad back the money that he had 'borrowed', this is something I just don't understand, when you are 16 or 17, you don't 'borrow' money off of your Parents, they are there to provide for you. I don't get this whole 'get a job at 16' thing as well.

if my family was in the position it was in 5 years ago i would not need a job until i left uni but as it stands another £50 in the household could keep me self-suficient for a week. plus i cant find a job.

My beef with the Brits is not on a personal level. I generally find them as a kind hearted people with a sorry record of telling jokes.

My beef is with Brit governments of the past.

1.Churchill trying to take Gallipoli. Refusing to deliver us two ships that the Turks paid for, forcing us to join the German side.

2. David Lloyd George later known as Earl Lloyd George who happened to be a true Turk hater bent on destroying the Ottoman Empire and reducing Turkey to an enclave around Ankara.

3. Encouraging the Armenians to revolt, encouraging the arabs to revolt and financing the Greek invasion of Turkey.

Having said that, I do ,however, like Tony Blair and the Mooseman. 8)

C-F

I have deleted your posting, it was totally unacceptable both in terms of personal attacks and racial generalisations. Please do not post in this manner again.

There is nothing like a well resoned, logicaly sound and evidence supported argument - especially from an alledged fan of one of the worlds best practicers of such (Noam Chomsky)

and what you have written is nothing like it.

Really? The Armenians 'betrayed' the Ottoman Empire did they? I've heard this sentiment all to often, all those who dare to oppose Islam are fucked around in the Ottoman Empire, we were supposed to be 'greatful' to you, fucking hell. And stop god damn feeling sorry for yourself, you are such a stupid little ignorant turkish nationalist, the Arabs revolted for a fucking reason dumbass, they wanted a unified Arabian Peninsula.

'Forcing' you to join the German side, bullshit, Turkish Nationalism and German Ultra-Nationalism go hand in hand, look at the fact Mein Kampf is a best-seller in Turkey. Nazis....

You know what? I am quite sick and tired of your disgusting behavior and your name calling on this forum. You dare compare me to Nazi's when Turkey has a record of protecting Jews.

You with your warped little mind are trying to rewrite history according to "CHOMPSKYFAN" I am sick and tired of you coming into this forum and spreading your disgusting hate. I thought this forum was a balanced forum where people can exchange ideas and not preach hate like you do. You are a disgusting little cockroach.

Go and blow a goat, you seem to enjoy reading Noam Chomsky, but obviously his frequent (and they are very frequent) attacks on Turkey conveniently slip down your memory hole.
