To be fair going from the report t seems the British actually Purchased this land )Although who they purchased it from in the 50s I do not know - Maybe a private individual?), as opposed to the so called sovereign base areas whch are altogether a different issue.

Richard ..... As you know I hold very little respect for the British government and their leadership ..... they meddled way too much in Cyprus and they left a great big mess. That is not to say that the GC's and TC's are not responsible for the current situation. However, in this occasion I accept your comments above and I will let them off the hook.

I do still think northern London ought to go for annexation to Cyprus.
