If people want bovver, they will look for it and get in it. Local gov's are responsible for peace and order. They should take extreme responsibility with harsh penalties - whether Turkey, Cyprus or the Garden of Eden.IMO
Concentration camps for these people so they can turn onto themselves.
But then skid mark wouldn't have been on the forum for the past couple of days crying his eyes out that those mean old Cypriots were....erm....mean!
The over exaggerated response and handling of the Turkish government and media over this incident, can only be seen as laughable and preposterous.

These hooligans, whereever they are are 'mean' big time. All VP asked for was condemnation and not excuses. Perhaps like me He was unaware of the events in Turkey - I dont know. (I am not making excuses for VP I hope).

When the hooligans attack, the racist wants condemnation, not excuses. Let him lead the way by condemning the invasion and continued occupation of Cyprus by Turkey, not give excuses about what happened in 1963, or whenever. Otherwise he can fuck off, and take his crude Turkish propaganda with him - back to his high security prison; or better still, Anatolia, where he'll be completely safe from revenge seeking Cypriots who want their country back.

I doubt Zenon of Kitium would have told anyone to fuck off.

Can any one imagine our response in the case we faced a similar position in Turkey, where 500 menacing bulls tried to storm the dressing room of the visiting team? Kifeas probably thinks that we will simply dismiss the incidence and claim that these things happen every where.
This is my personal experience. In 1996 I was part of the Cyprus Team in a badminton tournament in Istanbul. Some of our players took Cyprus flags with them and used them quite animatedly. At all times we felt safe and well cared for by the hosts. I think this had to do with our attitude too. You get what you give in this world.
