We do not want the whole of Cyprus when do we say get out of Cyprus that's a luxury you guys keep throwing at us like we do not have any right here but that's where you go wrong we do and will never give them up.

We want to share under a BBF with political equality of the 2 states north and south, why do you want the whole island to be GC?

it is a gc island with our tc minority... only thing is your trying to steal it from us just like the kurdish are trying to do in turkey.. only in turkey is not acceptable.. if its not in turkey its not in cyprus either.. does not matter if its not your battle or not.

your the minority you have to stop crying like babies and causing trouble to steal our island. ask turkey for your own state in turkey since your all turks in the north any way :)

do you guys celebrate xmas? if so then happy xmas any way

A BBF solution had it's pros and cons although it was not an icing on the cake solution it was a solution and after 40 years of unrest it was a solution both communities had something to work with, that's where the G/C community fail to understand. Plus Varosha could have been opened for re-construction by now.

Many views on this forum are that why should T/C minorities have equal sharing power? Well for a start the 1960 constitution stated that the two Co-Founders of Cyprus was Turkish and Greek Cypriots so that answers that.

With no equal power sharing no solution would ever work based on your idea of a G/C island because if you look at many countries around the world where there is two complete opposing ethnic groups living together, there is also civil war outbreaks and increase number of violence this is what we are trying to avoid for the future of Cyprus and our kids to live happily and safe (take Sudan an example going to the polls for a referendum to split because of many years of civil unrest between Christian and Muslim groups not a great idea but if it means an end to human violence then go to the polls I say if all avenues for peace have been exhausted).

But if we look away from ethnics then we have Homogeneous Groups so there is always some divide until we all learn as one we are Cypriots but this is no light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. Power sharing as equal citizens is a real step forward.
