How does your "right" of self determination include our lands?

Self-determination means to determine your own self and what belongs to you. The north part of Cyprus does not belong to you, you are only illegally occupying it. Thats like saying that ruling France was a self-determination right of the Nazis. (and yes, there is was a German minority in France, and no, that was not an excuse for the Nazi occupation).

Look at it this way. We were married for years and had lots of properties to our names but then decided we no longer loved or cared for each other and got divorced. It is likely that the husband had contributed more financially than the wife but the courts will award the wife equal or very near to equal of all assets.

Every time I drive through The Bishops Avenue I look at Roman Abromavich's wife's mansion and think poor Roman, at £45 million that probably works out at over 100K per fuck and £50K per blow job

Another example. Paul McCartney with Heather Mills works out at around a million per lay. So Piratis, if you had behaved and respected the constitution and your fellow compatriots none of this would have happened and we would have been living happily ever after.

You can argue all you like, you can try and distort the facts all you like but it will be in vain, you've been busted, the whole world now know the truth and are beginning to accept that a divorce is inevitable and like in every divorce a fair settlement is expected. 37/63 sounds just about right to me.

ur marriage analogy is flawed. it was a shot gun wedding. the bride was an ugly, aggressive, lazy, self-serving bitch. the groom never loved her, nor even fancied her. and he can't stand her dad, who's an utter prick.

The bride was a beautiful virgin which was at your beck and call. She was obedient and loyal. You treated her like a Phillipino maid. In the end her father had to protect her daughter because her life was at risk in the hands of an unstable, drunken and abusive scum. The fathers intervention was inevitable.

Now, both families are defending their corners and looking for a fair settlement, in such cases outside intervention, arbitration is necessary as the 2 families are clearly not in a state of mind to act rationally for obvious reasons.

The un came along and offered a fair and just solution back in 2004 but to the you turned up your nose. So as I see it you guys want your cake whole and eat it too.

You are a bunch of lying, racist pigs and deserve everything you get. I pray you attempt again what you attempted in 63 and 74 and this time the father really punishes you by driving all into the Mediterranean never to be seen again.

Since you brought up the wife/husband analogy (big mistake ), there may be some issues as to whether the marriage was legal or not and whether the "wife" is entitled to anything from a divorce, since the "wife" is a Muslim.!

Islamic Laws Regarding Marriage

"It is not permissible for Muslim women to marry non-Muslim men" (2 : 221 and 60:10).

"The wife, however; loses her right of maintenance, according to the unanimous opinion of the Muslim jurists, in case of Nushuz, that is her hatred or defiance of husband or her attraction to another person."

Şeri'a law in Cyprus? Thats a new one

I know, I know, but then again, it's as close as you can get to "Sharia Law" in the north today, isn't it though. OK, the "wife" is not being stoned to death for having a "infidel" boinking her, but the "wife" is being performed a "Mercy Killing" on her by the "father". !

You are so stupid Kikapu there are no such laws in the TRNC, you are changing the subject and trying to take away the wife's rights just as you want to do with TCs.

You are trying to change the subject because this is not about any "wife" but about territory that belongs as a whole to Republic of Cyprus, 82% of which belongs to Greek Cypriots.

Since the vast majority of that land belongs to GCs, even if TCs had a separate self-determination (which they don't), those lands wouldn't fall under their self-determination but under our.

Unlike your failed metaphor of a "wife", the courts have confirmed that the north part of Cyprus belongs to Republic of Cyprus and that the Turkish occupation is illegal.

Therefore if you want to solve the Cyprus Problem based on the "self-determination" argument, you should first show that your minority has a separate self-determination right, and even then that self-determination could apply only over those villages which are owned either exclusively or by majority by TCs. That basically means having small TC enclaves within GC Cyprus. If thats what you want, no problem with me. But if what you want is to steal our lands, then don't hope that we will ever accept that, and don't hope that you will convince anybody that our lands fall under your self-determination.

We shall leave that to the Kurds. Thats not a TC fingy.

Yeah but, it is the TCs who are "disappearing" in large numbers from the north and not the Kurds.!

Kiks still trying to find out what it is to be a TC........?
Hi Zan, hope all is well with you. As you can see, not much change here.

Best regards
