Agree Deniz this is the third bad weather Winter in a row and STILL passengers are stranded in airports, on motorways, schools shut, offices closed, transport frozen :roll: They don,t seem to ever be prepared, so why is the likes of Warsaw prepared or Vancouver etc, its a case of getting the act together. :roll:

Friends of ours are waiting for their student daughter to fly back to Cyprus for the holidays, she is stranded in Gatwick at the moment :( I am taking someone to LCA on Tuesday who are flying back to the UK they are now starting to think they should get some food in for Christmas :wink:

We are planning a Christmas family reunion next year, we have decided to fly much earlier in case of next years weather :shock: :lol:

The good news is that my cousin finally managed to get into Paphos in the early hours this morning.

First of all they dont see the news and the weather why do they travel ? Personally I wouldnt take a plane under such weather conditions !

I've also bought a ticket to Larnaca with Cyprus Airways on 29 dec..
hope in good meteo... airport Malpensa ( the biggest in Milano ) is 120 km far from home.. otherwise no cyprus holiday :(
must wait until the day before :?

My daughter flew in last night from Gatwick. Only 2hrs delayed. Overjoyed as loads of flights before hers had been cancelled and many flights later than hers were cancelled too.
