Hi, I am planning a holiday to Cyprus in October. Is this is a good time to go? Also, which is the best town to stay in? And how much do things cost over there (food/drink, taxi's, activities etc)?

In terms of when to go, October is great. The super-hot weather should have gone but it should be in the high-20s. As for best places, it depends what sort of holiday you're looking for. Clubbing would be Agia Napa, families either Protoras, Lemessos or Pafos, relaxing would be either Pafos or a place in the mountains.
