The Friends of Cyprus hosted a meeting to discuss Cyprus on Monday 13 December 2010 at Portcullis House, Westminster in London. Costa Carras had only recently returned from Istanbul where the Greek Turkish Forum took place. He spoke on the subject of "Return of the Nightmares? Partitionist, Rejectionist, Conflictual and Federalist Dreams in Ankara and Nicosia."



The speaker: Costa Carras, born and educated in Britain, has
lived in Athens since 1997. He was a founding member of Friends
of Cyprus in 1974, and remains a member of its Committee. He is a
founding member of the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in
Southeast Europe ( http://www.cdsee.org ) and the Board member
responsible for its Joint History Project. He is the longest serving
Vice President of Europa Nostra, the federation of European heritage
organisations ( http://www.europanostra.org ). A founding member
of the Greek Turkish Forum in 1998, he has been the Greek
Coordinator since 1999, sharing this role with Ustun Erguder

Can someone summarize all that verbal diahhorea and where were the TC viewpoint?

So they are friends of GCs only, so their viewpoint is only one sided and biased.

But I didn't think Cyprus had any 'friends' in the UK. Well not if you don't count the diaspora.
