A Limassol lawyer drives through a ‘Stop’ sign at a T junction and gets pulled over by a Traffic Cop.

The Lawyer thinks that he is smarter than the cop because he is a lawyer from Limassol and is certain that he has a better education then any Traffic Cop. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the Traffic Cop’s expense.
Traffic Cop says, ' Licence and registration, please.'
Lawyer says, 'What for?'
Traffic Cop says, 'You didn’t come to a complete stop at the stop sign.'
Lawyer says, 'I slowed down, and no one was coming.'
Traffic Cop says, 'You still didn’t come to a complete stop. Licence and registration, please.'
Lawyer says, 'What's the difference?'
Traffic Cop says, 'The difference is, you have to come to complete stop, that's the law, Licence and registration, please!'
Lawyer says, 'If you can show me the legal difference between slow down and stop, I'll give you my licence and registration; and you can give me the ticket. If not, you let me go and don't give me the ticket.'
Traffic Cop says, 'That sounds fair. Get out of your vehicle, sir.'
The Lawyer gets out of his vehicle.
The Traffic Cop takes out his baton and starts beating the shit out of the lawyer.
The Lawyer starts screaming.
The Traffic Cop says 'Now! Do you want me to stop, or just slow down?'




A much bigger joke: - Who ever heard of traffic laws being enforced in Cyprus?
