Not so my friend, the ONLY way to eradicate the poverty in Africa is to get rid of the 'Ambassadors' that are already there.

They will mostly be found posing as representatives of those powers which are offering 'Foreign Aid' to the same people they are forcing into starvation via the imposition of 'Sanctions'.

The price of such 'Foreign Aid', is the relinquishment of whatever authority the recipient may have to those who offer the 'Aid'.

A price far too high to be acceptable to many African leaders, Robert Mugabe being foremost among such leaders, his 'Anti-Aid' stance has resulted in much suffering to the Zimbabwean people, the more discerning among us will recognize the fact that such suffering is the result of Robert Mugabe's refusal to see his nation dominated by those he threw out years ago, NOT from his desire to see his people dying from the malnutrition and deprivation foisted upon them by the aforesaid 'Ambassadors'.

Better to sell matches on the street corners in order to make a living, than attempt to 'Capitalize' on the misfortunes of persecuted people. (IMHO)

No funds are being transferred to any African companies, organizations or governments.
All financial control remains in Better Globe.

Quite frankly DOGOOD, I am not in any way impressed with either your initial introduction or this counter to my comments.

Charitable organizations are notoriously unreliable in the African regions where help is most needed and 'Dogooders' are quite frequently exposed as 'Doscammers'.

I hope YOU do not fit the latter category BUT, on the offchance that you might, I think you should be ashamed of yourself for suggesting that one could enrich oneself by associating with your 'Society' (or whatever else you may choose to call it).

As to 'Wining', I am sure 'I', like so many other members of this forum, will be 'Wining' quite adequately over the festive season, not too sure about the 'Giving' bit though, you may have backed the wrong horse on that one.

Yes Mugabe is such a loving and altruistic leader of his people that he and his thugs live in opulent palaces and want for nothing while the people starve. If the starving masses misbehave or even if they don't, they get raped and brutalized.

And up spake 'merrytraveller' in support of the idea that ;- " You can eradicate poverty AND earn extra money at the same time".

That's EASY, all you have to do is "Bin the Lob" (as Jimmy Light would say) and the job is done for yourself.

I hope you are 'Travelling Light' mate, co's if you came 'A'Knocking' at MY door whilst I was wining, "I'd put me bleed'en toe be'yind yer an' tell yer to sling yer bleed'en 'ook!" (again as Jimmy would say)

Don't worry about Robert Mugabe, THAT old man can take care of himself, regardless of the terrible publicity he receives for having the temerity and courage to oppose the ambitions of the Western powers which, even on this very day have been told that he will continue to oppose them, in spite of their 'Sanctions' AND so-called 'Aid'.

Not bad for an old boy of 86 years..............(in MY book)
