We are not talking about any "point" and we are not talking about any "Greek empire". We are talking about Greeks being the majority of Western Anatolia for millenia during the rule of various empires and even before the concept of "empire" was created.

In fact the Greeks are the people who inhabited Western Anatolia for longer than any other ethnic group (and far longer than the Turks). So we are not talking about a "point" but about most of the history of that territory.

I know. That is how we know 'Turks' are new arrivals hereabouts. Perhaps you can tell us who is considered to be the Father of recorded History. :)

Goodie! I love quizzes. I bet he was Greek. They always are. Was it Hercules? How about Spartacus?

Unfortunately, the last crumbs are here in Cyprus today and they're desperately trying to resurface to their former glory but thankfully times have changed and they can no longer compete in the modern world… they’ve been reduced to paupers.

Paupers who can put Israel in her place.Paupers whose economy is growing faster than any other European country...Paupers who have a seat in the UN security council...As I always say, there is no one as blind as one who refuses to see...

We were talking about the last crumbs of Ottomans... Ottoman remnants remember? That’s YOU not Turkey!

Sorry Ethem, but what you (and Deniz) seem to know is just the Turkish propaganda which has nothing to do with reality.

The Greeks have been the majority of Western Anatolia for millenia. With the collapse of the Ottoman empire that territory should have been part of the Greek state, but the Turks invaded the Greek territories and committed genocide against the Greek people, just like they did with all other Christian populations of Asia Minor.

You can continue to deny the genocides committed by the Turks at those times, but the truth is that those genocides happened and that without those genocides Turkey wouldn't be of the size it is today since many of those territories were not Turkish at all. The Turks committed genocides against other populations and stole their lands.

Piratis, I for one do not use propaganda from Turkey. I cut and pasted an article which referred to Britain and France reporting on the killings of the 'Musulman' peoples of western Turkey by Greek brigands aided by Greek Hellenic forces. When GCs do the same do you accuse them of Greek Propaganda. Especially GR with his incredible non-credible 'credible evidence'.

lol can you imagine going over and finding thousands of black caribbean "turks" all talking turkish...scary lol

Why do you keep using the ottomans as an excuse? Turks were in western anatolia long before the ottomans even arrived...there was the Aydin, Karazi and Mentese Beylik's

and you can't just call up land depending on who inhabitted it the longest...turks inhabitted large parts of asia longer than anyone but you don't see us bitching about it

finding thousands of turks anywhere, talking any language is scary if you're a cypriot who's been f*cked over by them for centuries.
