I read the news GR....we're not talking about UN global figures...we're talking about holiday destinations and you will see from my link that turkey was awarded number one holiday destination 2010

ZoC, even though I don't believe you :P I hope you truly were just inviting him for a tetleys lol

that having been said, it would have been really nice to be able to organise a get-together for people on the CF forums but unfortunately I believe this would lead to city-wide riots and several high-profile arrests lol

You can put all the sources you want but I do not believe that Turkey has been the most visited country in 2010 ... I can tell you that I live in the most beautiful country in the world ..

And even if it was true that Turkey is the first place?
What changes in the world?

nobodys forcing you to believe it, Daniella :) I don't think it makes much difference if ANYONE believes it or not...and I've been to Milan, and even though I thought it was very nice, and very stylish, very clean, I couldn't help but feel the economy and administration (government) would make it a very difficult place to live...

and your right, It doesn't change the world AT ALL...but our friend, Lola, has deemed it worthy of discussion therefore we must feel partly obliged to discuss the matter

You are not the first one that says that living in Milan (in Italy in general) is complicated. Maybe because you see the chaos of our everyday reality.
On the other hand without the chaos and traffic of my city would not be the same.
In Italy we have big problems with immigration, it's out of control. Coming desperate from Africa, as well as from the countries of the East (Romania, Moldova, etc ...) may in future also from Turkey... :?
The first to emigrate and are always the most desperate and the criminals.
It 's always been so .. in this category I include of course the Italians who emigrated to America in the beginning of ‘900.
I hope I'm wrong ... another battle of Lepanto ...

I don't see how lepanto ties in with it?

to be honest, if you look at Immigration, Traffic, etc etc than Milan is no different to any other big city like my own, London....But I feel the country deserves better politicians because it's sad to see that a country with so much to offer goes through so much economic and political difficulties...but i guess no government is perfect :) look at UK...Tony Blair and Gordon Brown put us in debt for the rest of our lives lol...those a-holes...
