Kikapu, EU made promises of aid and removal of isolations to TC's which was vetoed by Republic of Cyprus AFTER the referendum. What it has to do with Turkey is that Turkey are the ones pushing for reunification of Cyprus and that was an incentive for them to say yes...some financial stability...but if EU aren't going to keep their word on it (and although it was proposed by Gunter Verheugen it was voted on in parliament with RoC being the only ones to veto it) than it just shows that EU are no rock to lean on

I still don't get it...GLR only allows TRNC to trade THROUGH RoC....there is no direct trade therefore there are isolations....and you effectively miss to point out the financial aid which never was (thanks RoC)
