I read all the journals and i just got the impression that its mostly there to show the bad sides of Cyprus rather than a mixture of the good and bad (excuse me if i got the wrong impression). However it still has potentials and i will try checking it often.

Well it's true not all things about Cyprus are bad, in fact, I like living here. Readers are allowed to add comments and I expect some subjects will be controversial - but as a non-cypriot observer this is how I and a lot of others see things. In some ways the blog is an answer to all the nationalist popaganda that is so often published, ignoring reality. Read on, and if you don't agree, add a comment why.

If someone had a superiority complex, they could imagine that everyone else had the opposite! But of course, with you that's surely not the case...

Trust me - living in North London does not mean you come into contact with English people everyday...have you ever been here?

and living in this country...I know how superior the English think they are compared to the rest of the world.

You dont have to put up with the same old crap when you give your name to the police for a producer or when one of their stupid dogs decide to sniff you up at Bounds Green Station.

Or how they generally try to ridicule anything that sounds foreign or cant be bothered to pronounce anything with more than three syllabels and ends in a vowel.

I agree, but not all English are like that, a lot are, but when it comes to the French it pisses me off, you are right, there is such an inferiority complex when some feel the need to denigrate the french.
