No such word exists.

Sad, that ones goodwill gesture is responded to with such an attempt at rudeness.

Seasons greetings to all. :?

And the same to you ExpatKiwi! Hope it's a good one.

My first sight of a public festive greeting this year was down at the Theatre/Library - a huge illuminated HAPPY HANNUKAH sign has been erected on the corner - compliments of WWW.JEWISHCYPRUS.COM

Just when they were starting to convince me that it was GREEK lol!

There is one in Nicosia outside the Police station opposite Debenhams, but I think you will find it was spelt Chanukah.

Not a problem really, JC was a good Jewish boy!

Were the followers of JC called 'Christians' in his lifetime or 'Nazarenes' ? When was the term 'Christian' first used?

no... followers of jesus (his immediate circle, disciples, family) were devout jews, as was jesus himself.... christianity was invented by saint paul, who had no end of bust ups with the jerusalem church, esp. when he said, 'to hell with circumcision, the gentiles won't buy it'. i think the term christian was invented when the romans needed someone to throw to the lions.
