if the cyprus problem is solved and by any chance of the imagination turkey becomes civilised....

life would be pretty much boring on this forum as the turkey butt jokes all over europe would cease to exist... :lol:

better keep the problem alive with "yok" to eu for turkey... :lol:

In order for Turkey to become an EU member, it will need to transform from this;

to this, just to make it palatable for the EU.! :wink:

Civilised - a definition:

1. Bring (a place or people) to a stage of social, cultural, and moral development considered to be more advanced.

2. Polite and well-mannered.

So we can pretty much forget "civilised" and "Turkey" being found in any proximity to each other in the foreseeable future.

Turkey has come to us and the results are there for all to see: ethnic cleansing, murder, rape, cultural destruction, occupation and an utter lack of anything you can call a moral sensibility. As long as Turkey occupies Cyprus and denies the Armenian genocide, Turkey has no claim to be considered a civilised nation.

I do not need to go to Turkey to see evidence of its barbarism when it is right on my doorstep. No Greek Cypriot is clueless when it comes to the nature of the Turkish beast. We know you only too well. Comprende?
