Weird ! i never got along with any Gemini !!

i get this trust vibes and you all really have split personality !..

You sound alright tho Palio regarding the Gemini issue !!

Well, I think Drugs are bad but like smoking it is a personal choice ! like smoking and drinking.

why the buzz about it !! because the government cant collect tax on it. unlike beer alcohol and fags !!

any way.. OFF THE TOPIC have a good weekend ... counting down till Xmas now i wonder what Santa have for me this year...

Palio - I have always assumed you too are quite young compared with most of the forumers here. I am surprised you seem to think €2K a month is a good salary - whether for doing a job you enjoy and put your all into or a job you just turn up to and take the money.

Have you ever thought about further education and trying to get into doing something you DO enjoy doing? You will spend a hell of a lot of your lifetime in work. Very sad to spend that time just marking time.

P'raps its the drugs/alcohol in both cases that influences your outlook?

I'd be very worried if any of my 3 grown kids were so jaded and/or unambitious at such a young age.

Have you no desire to travel and see the world? Something to 'aim for'?

I kid you not Gasman no one can be as full of life as the ones you talking to now !!

we gonna do what older generations dreamed off !!

and hahaha you give too much advices lol..

Its getting chilly now im off to worm up wv a weekend chillout drinkzzz :p

this is cyprus not england ;)

i bet in england a good salary is 1000 a day or near there.

plus i dont have kids or a family to look after so the whole 2 thousand goes to me and to go out with :).

i hope one day i can move to england and make more but until then i wont make more money even in the government. i would have to be a pilot or something a high paid job like this.

also i have just finished university so i have a higher education..

but do what with it? what job in cyprus will give me more then i earn? i could get a second job since i spend hardly any time with my flats. then i would make double the amount a month. even that is not much but for cyprus even the 2 is :)

Hi Palio - well if the whole of the salary goes to you to 'go out with' I presume you live with your family and pay no rent and have no food or utility bills to pay either?

I live in Cyprus too. But I do have a UK job. I use a remote connection on the 'net to do my job. Lucky me - UK wages but able to do the job from Cyprus or wherever else in the world I happen to be (providing I have access to the internet).

In the UK, government jobs (unless you are a bigwig) don't pay the most money - private enterprise does. And best earnings are for those that are 'contractors' and work for themselves. To achieve this, you usually need to build up a reputation and get recommendations.

You are correct in saying that, at the top of their field, in the UK, workers who 'contract themselves out' do earn more - but not as much as 1K a day - but not unusual to earn between 500 and 800 a day.

thats a lot of money the rich people in cyprus make that much lol you are lucky to have a uk job. maybe if i go find a second job but for now even 2 is enough per month. some families make less and can live easily. i know a family in limassol the man makes 1000 euro a month and has 5 children and they all live very well.

what is bigwig?

i live with my brother but all the bills are paid with direct debit from not my account :D

my teacher said last year that the families in england make their children pay to live with them :S i am glad i am not an english man hehe.
