I am sure you have got GR's measure,but in case there is a doubt in your mind,Ethem,let me dispell it...TCs do not exist in GR's book...We are Ottoman Remnants who must be despised for eternity for coming to Cyprus uninvited back in 1571...We have no rights to be in Cyprus,and everything that was inflicted on us from 50s onwards were totally deserved...GR is the naked face of GC hatred and bigotry,and thankfully he serves as a useful reminder to the TCs what could be waiting for them if they ever find themselves at their mercy again...He is not just the bad apple in the basket,he is the hand that carries the basket...

Repulse, the point is that yes there was a large number of GC's in the streets fighting WITH the Greeks...and none fighting AGAINST the greeks...as long as there is that small number who would take up arms against TC fellowes then there will be no solution which gives them leverage over us...I do see your point and yes I agree we are in this situation due to external powers but the point remains that we were dragged in to the fight TC and GC alike, and there are still some, TC and GC alike, who still share that mentality unfortunately...and I am very sure GR is one of these people...and as long as they exist then we are doomed if we live as a minority

anyway, back to the point...lets say EOKA B had some resistance...EOKA had 1,250 members therefore EOKA B must have had less...why was no one able to stop a band of less than 1000 men taking over power of the entire nation? I'm sure if there was enough will, EOKA B would have been stopped. If they succeeded TC's would all have been dead...they already started killing TC's by the time Turkish forces came
