Parking At Ikea----A Nightmare

Postby PushDaddy » Wed Dec 01, 2010 10:06 pm

Recently went to Ikea and although the Store is great, parking was a nightmare. According to some regular visitors it is always like that ! Is there a park and ride run by Ikea or a nearby car park with convenient public bus?

What are you talking about? The IKEA parking lots (underground and above ground) are a continuation of the Mall parking lots, and combined it’s probably the biggest parking lot in Cyprus!

Hi,

Sorry I wasnt being funny or trying to hack anyone off but I do agree with paliometoxo. The parking was choc a bloc when we went. If it was better organised then it would lead to an increased footfall of customers.

Have been to Ikea on numerous occasions and no problems parking, though the last time (about 2 weeks ago) did take a little longer than usual to find a space. It is probably the pre Christmas run-up with everyone out hunting for bargains.

MAYBE you did not check the underground parking only the one on top which the space is always limited !

Hospital car park just over the road, parking regs rarely enforced.
