I have read some but not all of this thread, and maybe as a tc I should not comment but was it not the Greeks that backed Samson and enosis wanting gc wankers to take over Cyprus with at least implied promise that they will prevent turkey from interfering? So what happened was this just a bluff then and when you knew turkey was serious you pussyed out, realising you would lose not only in Cyprus but most of your islands and most of your other territory?

FFS DTA I would really have expected better from you!

Yes the Greeks backed Sampson (not Samson!) and Enosis, and some GCs backed them ( Please note Greeks not Cypriots) and the Greeks (again not Cypriots) did refer to prevention of Turkey not interfereing.

The Cyprot NG did certainly not 'Pussy' out niether did the majority of the police but considering the number of Turks invading put up a good defensive action.
