Which proves how LITTLE Davut knows of the cultures of nations that he regards as "former subjects". Every single nation in that group has built its culture on a strong anti Turkish cultural and historic base. They see their surival through the Ottoman period as a story of resistance and opposition to eveything Turkish. Ask the Arabs, the Bulgraians, the Serbs, the Albanians about their beliefs on this point and you will get a rant, often much worse than what you get from Greeks.
In short, the continuing effort of most of these people is to divest themselves individually and communally of any remnants of Ottoman culture. The more succesful they are in this effort the more advanced the are regarded.
This is one more bit of proof that Davut is a nutter. Always mistrust people with funny moustaches and funny theories.
