Turkey made partition in 1974, it is just not de-facto internationally recognized. This is probably an American and other Great Power gesture to placate Greece, not Cyprus. Do not mistake this non-international recognition for the laughable dream that:
1) Turkish Cypriots are natural partners and brothers that won't stab you again
2) You can get Muslim Turks to honor agreement
3) That "we ruled you" mentality Muslim Turks will ever give you a withdrawal victory for diplomacy

Sometime or other, either as a nation you man up, or continue acting like women, but know that in the future Turkey will reinforce the gender role you created for yourself, by just raping you again, maybe for the last time before murdering you and disposing the carcass(destroying your nation and rewriting it as another glorious epoch of the "born soldier" and dominant history of the marital Turkish nation).

According to that blog American firms are just trying to get oil sharing revenues, I cannot blame them. Certainly you must know that there is no way little Nicosia ruled by soft leftists could defend such a resource from the arch expansionist, fascist/Islamic tribes of Ankara. But while knowing they cannot defend possible offshore oil resource from Ankara, the leftist woman of Nicosia still dream of holding talks with Ankara's Sandjak of Cyprus and reaching an "agreement"(which Turkish muslim side will of course violate at the best opportunity).
