There are two main elements of the 1960 Cyprus constitution that was hoped the EU constitution would replace. Firstly the part of the Zurich agreement that refers to the Bogus Treaty of Guarantee, and Secondly the Major part Britain sneaked in that fixed Two of its British bases on the island, unconditionally. Is there not a chapter, indicator, law or reference as a FULL EU member state that can remove those? The British bases should NOT be legally in Cyprus, and nor should any Treaty of Guarantee. We live in an advanced era compared to the 1960s and 1970s. The conditions and political climate of today is completely different; Greece is a FULL EU member state as well, there's been no Coup and nor has Cyprus since ever been threatened by Greece, particularly now we are a Full member of the EU.
