Seems that cash-strapped Brits living (but not necessarily resident) in Cyprus are cashing-in on a lucrative little business venture. Comfortable as they have become in the last few years, with forays “over the border”, they boast, even here on CF, that they know the north better than most GCs! Easy when they offer so many guided tours into the “unspoiled north” for friends, relatives and tourists - attached to the 'Holiday Let' homes of other Brits which they 'moonlightingly' look after, for extra cash.

Needless to say, these are the same Brits who propagate pro-Turkish and partitionist propaganda ...

I'm not sure what you're trying to say apc, but as I've stated they are British-led!

It appears some Brits, living year-round on the island, look after the homes of Brits off the island. Fair enough. But not when they indulge their pastime of touring the north and acting as casual guides for these tourists. Most likely feeding the tourists the same propaganda junk about the "intervention" which they spout here on the forum ...

Scared you'll lose your "trade"?

Bit by bit, the reasons for preventing certain individuals and groups from visiting the north are mounting up! The bored Brit housewife, fancying a bit of Turkish jewellery, the foreigners living-working here and exploiting the occupation to dazzle their friends or paying tourists ... all those who have no sentimental/familial reasons for going to the north should be barred!

Cyprus is too precious to be ogled!

Just to rebuke your usual defamatory allegations and to repeat myself.....

I work with Cypriots (if you want to pideonhole them - GC's) providing products, wholesale, at a significant price advantage.

2. The 2 trips I've ever made to the North revealed 1 important factor for you to consider ...... most of the traffic seems to be GC's going shopping or gambling.
