British-led Safari Tours to the occupied territory ...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I don't really give a monkeys about you, your age or anything else in your life. This thread isn't about YOU unless you take tourists around the occupied north and treat it like some kind of theme park ...

Isn't that what you alleged ? with " worried about losing trade"

However, and more importantly, you obviously don't give a "monkeys" about truth or credibility
Merely, as usual, implied allegations ( usually racially\xenophobically motivated) with which you attempt to mislead.
Then again if you lived here and did not depend on fantasy or hearsay you may realise that the reality differs somewhat from your delusions.

For example -

You'll find a significant number of ROC plated buses ( evil turkophile buses I suppose), mini buses and cars filled with all kinds of people crossing by road or depositing there passengers for onward travel.

Scores of younger Cypriot kids returning with carrier bags full of designer knock off's at the ledra street crossing.

and as previously stated,,,,,, over 700000 euro of credit card use by CYPRIOT ISSUED CREDIT CARDS

So to sum up ..... provide proof or stop posting purely inflammatory nonsense.

There's over 100,000 eu citizens living permanently in Cyprus with credit cards from the Cypriot banks. No doubt there will be some trade for cheap stuff every once in a while from gc's but in my generation at least this is frowned upon heavily and definitely NOT COOL.

As for the gamblers they are 30-40 people known to just about everyone in Cyprus. I won't discuss the whoring since unfortunately Cyprus has the most advanced sex industry in the world and nipping over to the occupied areas for a bit of turko-Bulgarian she males is not A very popular choice.

I really don't understand, what is the problem here? Everyday, there are hundreds of tours making to south and north, so, what is wrong with that?

Why does it bother YOU so much that you resort to swearing at me, threatening me and Cyprus and then pass on the evil lies that some googlefarters have been PM-ing around the forum in their psychotic obsession with me?

Sorry, you aren't "allowing" anything. These "foreigners" are EU citizens who have a RIGHT to visit the North and don't need your permission.

Lies where ??..... I only passed on personal ACTUAL experience

The only "psychotic obsessions" are your own, maybe time to consider laying off that little glass pipe

Having a few senior moments just because we've turned the page, huh.

So, your "personal experience" is that I smoke crack and live in Scotland? Don't bother telling me what you've been on! Probably bought on one of your trips into the "North"!

..........................

A little reminder to those who are doing some cash-in-hand moonlighting safari trips into the occupied areas with tourists who are otherwise legally staying at the "Holiday lets" they look after in the free areas ...

"The authorities of the Republic of Cyprus maintain their position that all properties situated in the occupied area of the Republic of Cyprus including hotels, restaurants, shops and other establishments, are not evidently owned, controlled and managed by their legal owners. These properties have been illegally aliened by the occupation regime to people that manage them, without the consent of their rightful owners. The conscious use of such property and particularly overnight stay in the aforesaid hotels or other resorts is illegal and subject to the laws of the Republic regarding the conscious use of stolen property."

Bit of an all-encompassing, sweeping claim, isn't it?
This is clearly not true and discredits the rest of the statement.

No, VW. The occupied north has special provisions, being a militarily occupied territory whereby the RoC cannot offer protection. So it's up to the RoC whether anyone can visit, let alone non-residents.

Oracle wrote:Seems that cash-strapped Brits living (but not necessarily resident) in Cyprus are cashing-in on a lucrative little business venture. Comfortable as they have become in the last few years, with forays “over the border”, they boast, even here on CF, that they know the north better than most GCs! Easy when they offer so many guided tours into the “unspoiled north” for friends, relatives and tourists - attached to the 'Holiday Let' homes of other Brits which they 'moonlightingly' look after, for extra cash.

Needless to say, these are the same Brits who propagate pro-Turkish and partitionist propaganda ...

May well be the reason as to why the "trnc" wants to prevent non "Turkish people" from owning vans and trucks in the north, that they may be used for commercial purposes by the foreigners, except for the Illegal Aliens of course, the settlers.!

I'll take a link or source on that or my reply is:
Utter nonsense! The North is in the EU and all EU citizens have a right of access to any other EU country.
