i hope all TCs read the above posts and wake up to the facts that we should never give up the Trnc so people like Piratis get the chance to call the whole of Cyprus a Greek island.

Which country would you choose? Obviously not the UK, where so many other GCs have chosen, as you have made it clear how miserable your life was living there as a 'bubble' and how you rejoiced in surrendering your British passport.

I doubt it would be the US considering your deep hatred of the country.

Australia?

It would be a toss between... Milan, Vienna, and Zurich.

I am not replying to anyone in particular. Those of us who are following the events closely can see clearly now that we are fast approaching the end of the Cyprus issue. The options we have are limited. Either we accept some form of power sharing with the Turkish Cypriots or Turkey will remain in Cyprus forever, with thousands of settlers and her army of course. The future of Greek Cypriots will be very bleak indeed. Waiting for the balance to change is a shameful thing because even if it does it will be against us. I am writing this for the nationalists of this forum who think that rhetoric alone could liberate Cyprus.

For the rest of the forum my message is different. Greek and Turkish Cypriots should strive together to turn Cyprus into an island of peace. Given our recent history, power sharing is the right way to go about it. This will also help us to isolate the nationalsits of both sides and throw them into the dustbin of history once and for all. I dream of a multi cultural Cyprus where Greek and Turkish Cypriots and all other races that have chosen to live among us, will strive towards a common goal. One of progress, social justice with equal opportunities for every one, within the great family of the United Europe.

What a silly man.

Who is requesting anything less than equality, by asking for democracy? The power of the individual to make a difference.

Retreat into you Turkish-centered unfair distribution of "power" as you sleep, but don't take my country with you ...

You are either incapable of understanding the reality of the situation or you are intentionally attempting to con naïve GC readers into accepting the notion of literally SIGNING the Turkification of Cyprus, because…

There is NO SUCH THING as “Power sharing with Turkish Cypriots” because the tiny TC community has been all but swallowed up by motherland Turkey so any power given to anything “Turkish” effectively means ANKARA and that of course means that “Turkey will remain in Cyprus forever!” with the SIGNATURE of the RoC!!!

However, as it currently stands Cyprus is a well established UN member sovereign country protected by the UN Charter while Turkey remains an internationally condemned illegal occupier …as she should be!

So saying all that what will change tomorrow? absolutely nothing you think holding onto the moral high ground will remove one Turkish solider or one settler you are more deluded that everyone thinks you are.
