There are pros and cons.

Compliance with all Eu regulations hits the end user big time, I mean real big time, and Cypriots still haven’t seen anything yet as regards price rises, the worst is yet to come.

For the average wage earner Eu is without doubt a big big burden. However in return s/he does get some quality control of goods and services,

For the Turkish entrepreneurs there will be the opportunity to expand in Europe.

Turkey does not really need Europe to expand. Turkey after years of hyper-inflation has now established steady growth, joining the Eu she will suddenly see a big rise in the cost of living, although some big business concerns will benefit.

It swings both ways, but the average wage earner will definitely pay the price of social political and large business benefits.

Personally I think far from expanding I can see a few Eu nations trying to actually get out.

Turkey in Europe – well you pay your money and take your choice.

Political social and economic advantages, subsidized by the average wage earner.

One of the more intelligent posts I've seen on this thread.

"Personally I think far from expanding I can see a few Eu nations trying to actually get out."

Good question for a new thread. "When does the EU reach the point of diminishing returns"?

Hardly, the rejection of the EU Constitution was not anti-Europeanism, it was specific disagreements from nation states over Domestic EU Policy. Now go and join your stupid Asian Union ffs, don't you get it? We don't want you in Europe!

Again you behave like the stupid son of a bitch that you are. Where are the moderators? Why aren't you expelling this racist bastrad. Is it because he's serving your propaganda? LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU COME TO AN AGREEMENT.

Moderators Note: 2fan, it's not in my ability to expell this member, only the admin can do that. Moderators are also highly constrained in the actions we can take. I suggest you direct your complaint to admin, sit back and see if anything happens.
