Hermes whats your point on this that the shroud convinces you that Jesus existed, and that the shroud proves that he was a supernatural being.....and?

yes to the first question. the second.... hmmm... not so sure. i've been toying with a personal theory that the existence of the shroud itself is what could have inspired the whole resurrection story.

beyond this, the shroud convinces me that the universe is far, far more mysterious than can be comprehended, even by 21st century science.

Im not a bible fanatic, the details of how easter was created ive never known or when christians began to celebrate it.....the science behind this recent investigation and the results were amazing. My question is since these results are so convincing about christ and he being a supernatural entity, why havent people flocked to this video but flock to miracles of icons sheding blood.

too much like hard work, perhaps... all that inconclusive science and technology... feed the flock with fake stigmata and weeping virgin mary statues. easier for them to digest.

early christianity was split between the gnostics and the orthodox. the gnostics lost out it in the end because too much thinking and questioning was needed. the orthodox had a middle man (the priests) to do all the work for them.

exactly and that same theme permeates today, noone wants to think but rather have someone else do their thinking for them, thinking brings up too many contradictions and many do not want to face them, on the other hand the priest being a entrepreunerial being on top of being a middle man, prefers neutrality and the word, hoping that one out of a million will connect to the truth, from what ive seen in the world so far i think that number may be one in a billion

Can you present some of this conclusive evidence for discussion?

The youtube did not add anything of material substance.

I doubt a thin sheet of material from 2000 years ago would last this long! I haven’t seen any kind of attire or material (textile) from that long ago preserved in museums. :?

Have you lot?

agreed. it was just a taste to whet people's appetite. may i recommend this, which is one of the most recent vids... there are five parts in total. it presents the evidence far more crisply than i, as a mere enthusiast (devotee?), could do with mere words on a forum...

we can discuss after u've watched.
