I really don't see what all the talk is about. It's pretty clear that Turkey invaded an independent country in 1974 and continues to occupy that country. The UN has specified many times what needs to be done. Turkey needs to pull out of Cyprus. If any Turkish Cypriots wish to remain they will be welcomed and treated with respect. If not then they have the right to protest to the legitimate government of Cyprus. The harsh reality however is that the EU does not want a settlement of the Cyprus invasion since they will use the excuse of Cyprus to keep Turkey out of the EU. Once again Cyprus is being used as a pawn.

The rest of the world and the EU are wrong...If one fait accompli is legitimate (the stealing of the RoC government from the TCs) then so is the other (Turkey's invasion and occupation)! You can't have it both ways...

There is no honour among thieves,my friend...If you steal other peoples legitimate rights,you give them the legitimacy to steal some of yours...End of story...If the RoC government is legitimate,so is the trnc...

You better act fast and accept that the TCs were robbed of their legitimate rights according to the Constitution...And hope that we will forgive you and rejoin you in the RoC...The alternative will be the legitimacy of the trnc,slowly recognised by the majority of the UN nations...Your window of opportunity is closing fast...It is time for action,not empty rhetoric.

Before 1963 Cyprus either had governments installed by foreign Imperialists (British, Ottomans etc) or governments where the absolutely essential principle of democracy, that of Majority rule, was oppressed making such government undemocratic and therefore less legitimate.

This doesn't mean that what we had in 1963 and since then is perfect. The perfect would be if the TCs abandoned their demands for racist discriminations and segregation and participated in the running of this country as equal Cypriots. But given the fact that the TCs insist on racist discriminations and segregation, what we had since 1963 is the second best and most legitimate alternative.

Now it is still your aim to reduce the TCs to an insignificant minority status,this time in order to rule over the whole of Cyprus as Greeks of Cyprus...You are not fooling anyone with your laughable accusations of 'racist discriminations and segregations etc...'

Don't confuse your rights with the ill received gains granted to you by foreign Imperialists as a reward for helping them oppress the Cypriot revolution and maintain their troops and control over our island.

Do you seriously claim that you do not want racist discriminations and segregation?? Are you serious? All your demands point exactly to those 2 things. To discriminate the Cypriot people based on their ethnicity so you can have gains on the expense of the majority (just like the Ottomans did by dividing the population into Muslims and Christians), and to segregate people as much as possible, hence your demands for partition by means of ethnic cleansing.

And Enosis was nothing less and nothing more than our legitimate right which was denied to us by foreign imperialists. Just like we have the right to unite Cyprus with EU if this is what we want (and if we are accepted), the same goes for uniting Cyprus with the rest of Greece or China. Your minority has no right to impose on Cyprus where it should and where it shouldn't belong. Or maybe in Turkey they asked the Kurdish minority for their separate approval before applying for joining the EU?
