silly billy!

He didn't say "trnc" you dork-brain! :D

He chose CYPRUS over the EU. Flipping "trnc" doesn't exist even for stinky Turks!

Yeah they recognise RoC! Yeah, we know their childish games!

Thank god for Turkey, and good riddens to GC EU leverage.

So GC's with Oracle's mindset were convinced that once Cyprus was admitted to the EU, the EU avenging army (or waddever) would kick Turkey's arse out of Cyprus. God she posted enough to say so.

It didn't happen. Despite her calls for them to hurry up etc.

Then convinced themselves that admittance to the EU was more important to Turkey than anything else and that Turkey would have to agree to whatever conditions the RoC insisted upon re a settlement.

Now it is maybe looking like that might not be entirely true as well.

So what next?

Are all hopes pinned on Turkey being more desperate to join the EU than anything else or what?

Don't understand what you are saying here? Preferred by whom?

If you mean preferred by the EU - Cyprus is already in so doesn't have to compete with Turkey for a place in the club.

I understood Turkey to have said if it comes to the crunch they would forget the EU in favour of hanging on to the 'TRNC'. No idea if that has changed.
