i think the roc government should accept the proposals... say, on the condition that istanbul is ethnically cleansed of its Muslim population and ceded to the republic. after all, we don't want to appear obstructive.

Very clear and logical thinking!!!
How can a solution be far off now with such brilliant proposals flying about... :?

your motherland started it!!!

You got that right...My motherland,Cyprus, has a lot to answer for!

if cyprus was ur motherland, u'd tell turkey to f -off, like a proper son of cyprus!

But,but,but...my step father has been abusing me for a long time,so I need proper protection before I can tell my cousin to f-off!

if i was ur "step father" (have u done a dna test - he might be biological?) i'd give u a good kick in for being such an ingrate, and for getting outsiders to interfere in family affairs. and if u don't protect the family i'd chuck you out the house and get u to go live with your gambling, criminal, drug addicted "cousin"... and good riddance to you both.

Looks like they won't!

‘Don’t spoil the Greeks’

The Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has been considering the proposal for a month, but its ultimate decision, to not open its ports, has finally been made. According to the same source, the government believes that opening the ports would only “spoil the Greek side further.”

"You speak the truth, I respect your principles. But why, even as you said there would be no full membership without an end to the impasse, did you grant Greek Cypriots full membership in 2002 and violate that rule? Were you unable to remember these principles then?”

Vay canına,

Abdullah Gül does not beat around the bush does he? I wonder what was Sarkozys' response!!
