“I think it’s time for a little bit of new thinking"

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

new thinking, hmmmm

some things in the Annan plan are good by coincidence, ideas from the seven? other plans before it...

here i am, a social-scientific research analyst, fururist who has spent my adult life torn from what for me is dearest. i won't bore myself with repeating what i have repeated before, but two governments is not Bicommunal, there must be one and many for this Principal to be demonstrated. saying anything else is a lie, and Ignorant because it is based on plunder.

@ vp, dude you are a great spirit, thanks for the dogma, you can be a great help toward the Peace we both crave.
equal to Greeks, (and Maronites, maybe Romes and Armenians) in there own National Assemblies, the Majority which is commited to sustaining their Identity as Persons respectfully, recognising the minorities amongst them by providing for them their special needs. we need a Federal Government, a unitary State that defends our Individual Rights, modern, it will countervail our National identities so that the decisions made provide all with Liberty that is without discrimination.

…"The partnership will comprise a Federal Government with a single international personality, along with a Turkish Cypriot Constituent State and a Greek Cypriot Constituent State, which will be of equal status."

here are the facts; count them, three governing bodies.

Cheers.

No problem, but you will not accept the TCs conditions.

you dont accept the gcs ones either. why should the gcs have to jump through hoops to make you happy and then the tcs do nothing?

from a cyprus problem that turkey started and is trying to finish

Hello thats why we have stalemate and no solution neither side will back down. Doesnt this reinforce the arguement that both sides do not want to live together unless their conditions are met?

Our conditions for a BBF are backed by the EU and UN.

our conditions are for the tcs to forget bbf or partition of cyprus which is also backed by eu and the un to not have cyprus split in two or a bbf.

that was then, this is now. a bbf between cypriots may have been an option then. a confederation between cypriots and settler turks isn't now. u missed ur chances.
