I always believed and still believe that a joint EU/NATO mechanism will be the security and gurantee for cypriot security.

Turkey is too selfish to be a team player:

However, diplomats ahead of the Lisbon summit said that Turkey opposed any ambitious call for a 'strategic partnership,' pushing instead for vaguer language.

Expulsion of Turkey is the only way.

We will not allow you to tie Turkey in a knot when it is necessary for them to act in times of crisis, it took them 11 years last time and we suffered greatly, we will not make the same mistake again.

If Turkey accepts the missile defense system which will be a Nato mission backed by the US, Turkey will not go anywhere, not that she is going anyway, but just in case you had some false fantasies

It effectively places the ball in turkeys court, turkey wants to keep control of a part of cyprus regardless, if there are only 2 tcs left on the island, nato/eu participation in the solution eliminates turkey's grip on cyprus......

Which part is propaganda? Your desire is to rid yourselves of Turkeys intervention rights so that you can do as you wish.
