I'm trying to collect stories all over the island of Cyprus about buried treasures.

Legend has it that somewhere in the occupied territory of Cyprus, MrH has buried his brain and refuses to tell anyone where! :?

Cyprus is full of buried Treasure you just have to dogde a lot of mass graves.

That is why Lambousa is such an important piece of history for us to remember.

As for treasure, a doctor friend from Famagusta says that when you see sudden wealth in Cyprus look for one of three things: antiquities theft, drugs or spying. Guess your buried treasure quest comes under the first heading.

There are stories of the farmer who unearths "enan kouzi gemato lires" and becomes rich overnight. Heard of those but never met any.
