i am not saying and never have that everyone other than a turk is barbaric.
i have said many times on this forum that all empires must have been oppressive and barbaric from the first to the last. That is how they become empires. No nation openly invites another to rule it, although some may wish to come under another's protection.
i do not comment too much on the armenian claims, because i really know jack about it. i wasnt there, i do not comment on things of which i have no knowledge. i am not too sure that i am prepared to believe what the french say either. the more i learn of them the less respect i have for them. They had reason at the time to have vested interests in the demise of the turkish empire as did the british, namely the growths of their own respective empires and the demise of a rival. This being said i am prepared to accept that fire makes smoke, but how high the flames? i do not know.
The french like all empires were not entirely angels either, or so some would say, there is talk of so named Allgerian massacres. i wont comment on them as again i was not there and know nothing about them.
ALGIERS, May 8 (Reuters) - President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has called on France to admit its part in the massacres of 45,000 Algerians who took to the streets to demand independence as Europe celebrated victory over Nazi Germany on May 8, 1945.
do the french admit to this?
Its funny how you always assume turkish guilt, even though you can have no experience of events before your time.
As long as gc posts snipe turkish barbarism as justification of gcs own barbaric acts on cyprus 60-73 they shall be reminded of them. Its up to you how we react, just like it has been since independence.
