Hanging basket bracket to steady the chimney and a very stylish little shabby chic corrugated tin porch to keep you shaded while you cook.

A delightfully shabby solution ...... bet his food tastes good too. :P :P :P

Looks like a quiet side street - so bravo and bollocks to the planning gestapo

Looks like the main road from the Marina to L/ca Airport. Ye Olde Turkish Quarter.

I bet the kebab is tasty.

That's where I meant Deniz. I was told the grub was tasty but the place was also popular with

Bacteria (it might be OK now though)

My cousins had houses there and lived there until 1974.

BBQ, two roads back from the waterfront, old town. Yard also 2 roads back opposite where I live.

Yes most of the old inner courtyards have had their walls knocked down to accomodate the cars.

As for CBBB who said I was whingeing? I absolutely LOVE the old town and wouldn't live in a 'new community' if they paid me. All the houses I lived in in the UK were around 150 yrs old. What they build these days won't last that long.

I do think it is a shame that they've let the old houses get into such a dreadful state in most cases. A few have done them up but most look as if they are unfit for habitation (but are inhabited)

The road the BBQ is in is quite a posh bit!

You can't have a laugh on here. Not allowed!

Glad you reminded me of the bog roll issue O. I have a very interesting little tale about that concerning the loos at Pafos airport when they built it!

I will save it for now but it was reported on in the newspapers here!

Yeah, we used to be till Googling Gasfart poisoned every thread with her surreptitious pro-Turk propaganda. Even here, notice she does not fail to get her remarks in about her love of the TC houses and a dig that they are not being looked after.

But, how could you understand; it wasn't that long ago you were boasting of going over the "border" to buy some Turkish goods/jewellery without the bother of going to Turkey!
