Nowhere to build the BBQ?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

But isn’t that part of the beauty of Cyprus… these cute little violations for the sake of tasty food and other conveniences?

I’ll bet there’s a clause in their town hall that says…

“All citizens are expected to abide by road rules (except for the guy with the foukou) or they will be prosecuted in accordance with…”

Btw, there’s a street somewhere (I forgot where) where a big tree is smack in the center of a road and everyone just drives around it! Isn’t that brilliant?

Lots of trees growing in the middle of the road around Troodos! We have the huge one that serves as a roundabout just past Metro.

Here in the old town they've put all this new pavement down. In places it is only a foot wide. And out of it grows telegraph poles, Blue plastic water feed pipes and all sorts. People always walked in the road before now they still have to - all they've managed to do is narrow the available road to walk in!

Hanging basket bracket to steady the chimney and a very stylish little shabby chic corrugated tin porch to keep you shaded while you cook.

It looks to me like the "seafront" in the TC part of Larnaca beyond the fort. My brother used to eat there, it used to be very cheap.

You see with imaginative placement of the old TVs and white goods, you can dispense with the need for a kennel and build a barrier to keep the dog away from your little outdoor oasis (on the left - yes they sit out there at night in summer they have the telly on a plastic garden table in among that lot!)

As this is opposite Christakis Electrical Store, I am wondering if he has an arrangement to take all his traded in crap - err, I mean scrap off him?

The dog in the foreground is a lovely spaniel type. Never been for a walk outside that garden in all the years I've lived here. He loves to get a visit and we go see him every day.

I bet that was once the inner courtyard of an old Turkish House; those trees tell a lot of tales.

That's where I meant Deniz. I was told the grub was tasty but the place was also popular with

Bacteria (it might be OK now though)
