not a very respectful response
There is an old Irish adage............ "Never expect more from a pig, than a grunt !"
The trouble is some do not enjoy self respect but self-love (Philautia) which as Philosophers reported makes them blind to their own faults: however lacking self respect they probably cannot respct others.
Which is why we should ALL give the matter some serious consideration my friend.
There is no benefit in exhibiting one's ignorance, 'Respect' for others MUST increase one's 'Self Respect' since the latter attribute grows out of practising the former.
While there is a disrespectful word for those who practise self-love.
