To have made a decision to change your life and go down a path full of hope, only to have it turned upside down by the actions of others is totally devastating! I am being continuously told to get on with my life and let things take their course and that, one day, it will all be sorted. What a wonderful scenario. The reality is that you go to bed with this problem, you wake with this problem, and your day is filled with this problem. I have no idea IF it will be sorted, WHEN it will be sorted and WHAT of my future? My health has suffered and my enthusiasm for anything has diminished. Unless you are in this situation, you can only begin to imagine how it feels. I would love to enjoy each day of my life in a normal way, but my right to do so has been snatched from me. I have been brought to my knees financially and have no security. All i can say to you Janet is keep going, dont give up, wait and try to cope as best you can. I would like to think that one day we will both overcome our problems and indeed begin to enjoy life once more.

I just find it rather strange that you are encouraging all these strangers to give you advice, when as you've clearly stated to me, I "don't know nothing" about your personal circumstances and details. You haven't vetted the strangers' levels of decency nor established any relationships to gather how sound or reliable their advice is.

Janet, some comments are not worthy of acknowledgement. Dont rise to them. They are irrelevant. Remember, a few words of encouragement and just to know that many people have offered words of support should go a little way to making you feel a bit better.

Precisely, ashleigh!

Yet she is encouraging a lot of unknowns to give her advice! Recipe for disaster if I ever saw one.

Janet - have you visited Eastern Cyprus Owners and Buyers Forum? Not saying it will have any answers for you, but if you look for a thread called Conor's court case you will at least feel less alone.

Best wishes,

Richie

Also, I should point out that Oracle has made some good suggestions here. Maybe it can be connected up for water and electric? Perhaps the situation is still salvageable? Also, the Eastern Cyprus site has a property expert - Nigel Howarth, who may also be able to advise you. I would recommend joining the forum.

I would recommend taking a day or two away from here to reflect - try to consider the situation objectively rather than subjectively (yes - it will be difficult) and try to think more positively. Really hope things work out.

Lick your wonds and come out fighting!

it is hard to think positively when you've been conned in such a cruel way
