The new TC leader seems to be stuborn, uncooperative and unwilling to find a solution much like his predecessor, "Mr. No". What do you guys think?

The more appropriate question would be;

Is Tassos and Denktas junior plotting partition of the island when they have their secret meetings at Tassos's house?

And the answer would be a resounding yes they are.

Partition? Isn't that what Mr. Papadopoulos is fighting against? I think Talat wants partition which of course is absolutely unacceptable. So any answers on this topic brother instead of again throwing the ball to the other side?

Fi, if you can find a legitimate quote from Talat where he explicitly states a desire for partition you might prove your point. Failing that, there is no evidence that Talat seeks division.

Hi cannedmoose. I deduce that from his lack of initiative in solving the problem. He seems more preocupied with things like bringing illegally Turkish friendly politicians from the US for example... Like that is going to solve anything.

So what is brother's reason saying tha Mr. Papadopoulos wants partition when the truth is exactly the opposite!!!!!!

But I agree cannedmoose there is no evidence that Mr Talat wants division either you can only deduce it from his actions.

But there is proof of Tassos doing the dirty and meeting with denktas junior in secret and still tassos will not discuss what was spoken, i wonder why his excellency :lol: refuses to tell his true intentions to all cypriots but serdar denktas has blown the whistle on him and said they did discuss partition.

And now his excellency :lol: refuses to meet Talat who is for unification of the island.

so why the hell, when Papadopolous proposed certain deals to make the road for reunification easier, Talat would not budge until he could make the 'TRNC' semi recognised with the openings of the ports, etc. Is this the actions of a man who wants reunification?

If Papadopolous turned around and asked for equal negotiations with Talat, Talat would jump at the oppourtunity. I'm sure that Talat was geniune in his support for the Annan Plan, where as we all know Papadopolous' greater intentions. Fact is, Papadopolous didn't negotiate on the plan, but then he turned around and said it wasn't good enough; he should have made it acceptable earlier! But, of course, the reason he did this was so the plan wasn't acceptable to Greek Cypriots, and so they wouldn't accept it. I'd say that Tassos was closer to Denktash than Talat is. Tassos won't stay in power for ever though, and soon enough we should have a forward looking Greek Cypriot to find a solution that's fair to both sides.
