lol if your with adsl then your distance from the adsl exchange is the difference from receiving full speed you pay for and not being able to have faster then something slow.. i am 2.55km from my exchange in kokkinotrimithias which means i will likely see around 8mbit maximum.. my friend further in the village he must be at least 15-20km away and he cant get faster then 256kbit... my cousin she lives maybe 5km and she can get up to 4mbit.. and also the quality of the phone line counts as well

with cable every one uses the same network so the more on the cable network in your area the slower the internet is for you. both have their downsides and the adsl always seems to have better uploads but i think cable is better

4.26/0.34 - when it works - possibly some of the recent connection probs flow from the upgrade but seemd stable now.
