So it's not til next year now? I am hanging on to see what it's like with the upgrade before deciding whether to switch.

Mine's €51.93 plus VAT so a little under €60 a month. Years ago they said it would get cheaper when more people in Cyprus use it. I wonder what the percentage of people here using internet is?

I know when I moved here to Lca 3 years or so ago, I had to have a survey because no one else in the 40 odd units had internet. I only know half a dozen who have it now.

When I lived in an apartment in Limassol before that, only two of us in the block had the internet.

Didn't know anyone who didn't have it when I left the UK.

20mbit is a nice upgrade for cyprus internet users. adsl trails behind with 8mbit soon/ next year. but its still a lot of money for 20mbits, when in other countries i can have 100mbit or even in the uk i can have 50mbit for cheaper.. soon to be 100.

in 100 years when cable has services in this village

Those who have cablenet... are you satisfied? I read many bad reviews about them recently. Many people say they don't even get a fraction of what they pay for. I have 2M i-choice with Otenet and I get full speed almost always.

I get my full 6 meg with Cablenet whenever I do a do speed test.

Mind you, I don't really see the point anything much faster, as most of the sites people visit cannot provide the data fast enough.

I would just like to add that the support from all of them is crap!!! Spidernet used to be good, but since Primetel swallowed them, they are crap as well!
